description: I was at a public pool drinking after it was closed at night with friends when a cop hopped over the fence responding from a noise/trespassing complaint from an off duty officer that lived next to the pool. He proceeded to search everyone and found no marijuana but just alcohol. The off duty officer came down to the pool shortly after and saw dutches on the table. He then tried to make us admit that we had marijuana on us because of the dutches. The off duty officer started to get impatient when no one admitted to it and then re-searched us when the on duty officer was talkin to his back up and found marijuana on me. Then he had the on duty officer arrest me. I am 19, just finished my freshmen year attending central ct university (3.19 GPA) and was previously arrested at 17 for marijuana possession and pleaded youthful offender already. I was wondering what penalty i will be given in your opinion? Also what could you do to lessen this penalty and how much would it cost for your services? Lastly, is an off duty officer allowed to do what he did after the on duty officer found no marijuana?
